If you're even remotely thinking about buying a home in the NE Atlanta real estate market in the next few months, don't delay your decision. In the past 26 years that I have serviced this area, I've never seen a better opportunity for buyers. Interest rates are back below 6% for 30 year fixed rates! Home prices are the lowest I've ever seen! The housing market is complete with inventory in every price range!
Bottom line.........it's a wonderful combination of historically LOW RATES and definitely the BEST pricing we've had in many years. No one knows just how long this window of opportunity will last.

Best time EVER to buy a Home!
For those of you who have actually been considering the purchase of a home lately, NOW is the time to act, especially for those of you who live anywhere close to our market here in the Atlanta Ga metro.
I've been in the real estate business for the past 26 years continously, and I've never EVER seen a better time for Purchasers to make their move.
I can list the most obvious reasons in a few short sentences. Interest rates are staying very close to Historicaly low numbers, making good loans plentiful for decent creditworthy customers. Prices are unbelievably low due to the mass quantities of foreclosed homes coming on the market each month, coupled with builders sitting on tons of overbuilt inventory. The supply of housing is extremely plentiful in all price ranges. Many sellers
are willing to walk away with no cash at closing, just to get the mortgage off their backs. Some are even willing to pay cash at closing to cover the cost of sale. I have never seen a market quite so in favor of buyers.
If you're remotely considering a purchase in 2008, I personally would not wait for the market to improve in favor of the seller. This window may be closing by mid to late spring, as we rebound from the winter sluggishness.
If you need the name of a good Realtor in your area, please call me for a referral. If you already live within a reasonable radius of Atlanta, please call or email me for further assistance.
Don't let an opportunity like this one get away!
happy house hunting 2008!

My New Year's Resolution
My New Year's Resolution
Aren’t you tired of the year end commercials advertising for weight loss products?
We see them every year, starting on Thankgiving Day and running for the 1st month of the new year. Why is that people will make a resolution to lose weight and get in shape, and then give up so easily on their new goal?
I believe it really boils down to one word “discipline.” They just don’t give it long enough to work!
We just don’t schedule the daily exercise into our lives. We want the results, but we just don’t have the will power to see the job through to completion.
I have a challenge that will help. Get on a program that starts at the very beginning of your day. It doesn’t matter what time you have to start, or what time you have to be at work. For example, if your goal is 30 minutes of exercise, and you need 15 minutes for breakfast, and you need 15 minutes for a shower, etc, then you must start all of this at 6:30 am, if you need to leave for work by 8:00 am. The extra time is a buffer in case you underestimated the time.
The really cool thing about doing this everyday is that it will become “burned in” to your daily routine. When those “feel good about yourself” chemicals kick in each morning, you will be amazed how much more productive your day will be as a result.
The challenge is this: Schedule your exercise routine for a minimum of 21 straight days…yep, 3 straight weeks without missing a single day….You will be amazed at the results, and also at the ease of getting it done from then on. Self-discipline is the same for all of us. It must become a PRIORITY in our lives if it is going to happen. Your health and fitness should be near the top of your list.
For 2008, don’t just give lip service to your resolution….do it for 21 straight days. It will very likely become a habit for life.
I personally exercise every day, 7 days a week, for over 1.5 hours typically. It’s addictive, and it keeps all my health vitals in balance. Make it Happen! Make it a Priority!
Happy New Year!
